The Sisco Award is a tribute to Hudson Valley Foundation for Youth Health founder George A. Sisco, in honor of his decades of devotion to youth leadership and community service. The scholarship award is up to $1,000 and to qualify the applicant must be under age 22 and have volunteer experience within HVFYH’s service areas of Delaware, Ulster, Greene, and Columbia Counties and the Northern Dutchess towns of Red Hook and Rhinebeck (12571,12572). Students attending or wishing to attend K-12, college, and summer intensive programs qualify for this scholarship. Scholarship funds will be dispersed directly to the school or organization hosting the education experience, or college/university financial aid office and applied to the recipient's tuition for the 2025-2026 period.
Application Requirements

- A completed application and supporting documentation to be submitted no later than May 15, 2025.
- Documentation of community service (note from nonprofit applicant volunteered for).
- 300-500 word essay about the program of study the applicant would like to pursue (summer intensive, high school, college, technical program, etc.)
